At Param Foundation, we are dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of the underprivileged. As a non-profit, non-governmental organization, our mission is to empower communities in the realms of Education, Health, Environment, and Community Development. Our efforts are focused on the bustling urban slums of Bangalore, serene rural villages, and the suburbs, where we strive to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities. Through initiatives in income generation, conflict resolution, and fostering social stability, we aim to create a lasting impact at both individual and societal levels.
We’re taking our mission further with the launch of The Param Project. This initiative focuses on holistic development in science, culture, and history, offering a space for young minds to explore and shape India’s future.
At Param Foundation, we believe every child deserves a bright future. Our 'Sponsor a Child' initiative targets underprivileged children with higher intellectual potential, providing them with access to quality education and health insurance. In this unique program, volunteers can engage directly by mentoring a child, contributing to their all-round development. A small contribution of Rs. 500 per month can make a significant difference in a child's life.
Our evening tuition centres are a beacon of hope for children residing in slums. These centres provide essential supplementary coaching to enhance their academic skills and build soft skills critical for their success in formal schooling. With just Rs. 1,000 per month, you can help a centre flourish, impacting the lives of 25 children every year.
‘Nele' meaning 'shelter' in the local language, is more than just a home for destitute children. It’s a transformative space where failed street children and orphans are nurtured to become responsible and cultured members of society. With Rs. 1,500 per month, you can sponsor a child's shelter, food, clothing, and education, giving them a new lease on life.
Our 'Sponsor a Cow' project is an innovative way to support environmentally friendly farming and sustainable dairy practices. This project helps preserve indigenous cow breeds and promotes the rural economy. By sponsoring with Rs. 500 per month, you contribute to a cow's upkeep and support the backbone of rural livelihoods.
Breaking new ground, our Holistic Patient Care project integrates various medical disciplines like Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Yoga to treat patients comprehensively. This endeavour aims to harmonize these systems, providing patients with clear and effective treatment pathways. Contributions of any amount are welcomed to support this revolutionary project with an estimated first-year cost of Rs. 15,00,000.
We regularly organize need-based health camps in city slums and rural villages. These camps offer services like eye check-ups, general health checkups, and more, with the active participation of volunteers and other NGOs.
When hospitalization is necessary for an economically underprivileged individual, we provide resources to cover part or all of the treatment expenses, collaborating with hospitals and NGOs.
This project involves donating equipment, constructing or renovating hospital buildings, and supporting salaries for medical staff, transportation, and communication costs.
We provide scholarships, books, and educational support to out-of-school students, focusing on mainstream education and vocational training for uneducated youth and women
This includes setting up laboratories and libraries, modernizing classrooms and schools, and supporting salaries for teachers and staff, with funds allocated based on donor preferences.
