Session 1 of the SciTech Symposium promises an engaging and stimulating experience centred around Project Param. Starting from a full walkthrough and description on how this ambitious project shall become an icon for bengaluru. Param is a truly landmark project encompassing seven diverse spheres – science, culture, incubation, convention, guestroom, commercial and history.
The first half of the session will be dedicated to a spirited ideation process, providing a platform for all attendees to brainstorm, discuss and shape ideas about each distinct centre. It’s a golden opportunity to not just learn but to contribute your innovative thoughts and perspectives towards creating these centres.
The second half of the session zooms into one critical aspect of Project Param – the Incubation Centre. This is where raw ideas are nurtured and transformed into tangible prototypes and eventually into potential businesses. We aim to explore, from a student’s perspective, how to structure and operate this centre effectively.
The Incubation Centre prides itself on being accessible to everyone, irrespective of their background. It serves as a stepping stone for any individual who dreams of bringing their ideas to life, offering a comprehensive path from the earliest spark of an idea to the possibility of a thriving business. This discussion promises to be a unique blend of practical insights, strategic planning, and forward-thinking vision that empowers the next generation of innovators.
In Session 2 of the SciTech Symposium, we delve into the fascinating world of exhibit ideation and execution for the Param Science Centre. This part of Project Param embraces the enchanting confluence of science and technology, aiming to present it in an engaging, interactive format that captures the imagination of the general public.
Creating exhibits for the Science Centre is more than just putting together displays. It’s about distilling complex scientific principles into accessible and entertaining presentations, designed to inspire passion and ignite curiosity among millions of annual visitors.
During this session, we’ll brainstorm ideas, design and prototype exhibits that highlight the beauty and wonder of science and technology.
The goal is to ensure that each exhibit not only educates but also fascinates, sparking an enduring love of science and technology in every visitor. The session promises a rich exchange of ideas, innovative design thinking, and detailed insights into the execution of high-quality, impactful exhibits.
Some sample exhibits include – Bacteriapolis, Skeltonics, Career Maze and Tesla Coil Walkthrough
In the third session of the SciTech Symposium, we invite you to embark on an engaging journey through time, as we explore the captivating world of ancient Indian science and it’s relevance to the modern context. Unlike traditional presentations, this session will be an interactive blend of research and recreation, using breakout rooms and games to enhance your learning experience.
Participants will be divided into breakout rooms, each focusing on a specific aspect of India’s rich scientific heritage. From the marvels of Vedic mathematics to the profound insights of Ayurvedic medicine, each room will present its theme in a modern and engaging context.
To add an element of fun and further cement the learning, we’ll incorporate innovative games into the session. These activities, designed around the scientific themes, will challenge you to apply your newfound knowledge, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of our scientific heritage. Join us for this unique session as we blend the past and the present, honour our heritage, and playfully interact with the scientific treasures of ancient India.

The fourth and final session of the SciTech Symposium provides a platform for visionary thinking about the future of science and technology. This session features an open panel discussion, debate, and brainstorming session that invites us to contemplate the potential impacts of scientific and technological advancements on people, societies, nations, and humanity at large.
We’ll ponder on the transformations we can anticipate in the coming years, decades, and even millennia. Our discussion will not only encompass the exciting possibilities that these advancements present but also the challenges and ethical considerations they may provoke.
From reshaping everyday living, revolutionising industries, impacting social dynamics, to redefining what it means to be human, the scope of this session is as broad as the future itself. The session promises to be a riveting, far-sighted dialogue that will fuel your imagination and broaden your perspectives on the ever-evolving landscape of science and technology
